When you think of Google, your mind fills with images of technology and constant advances. Therefore, when the idea of building the Google Campus in Madrid, a centre of innovation and collaboration, was proposed, it presented an exciting challenge.
The goal was to create an iconic space that reflected the essence of Google and became an epicentre of ideas, entrepreneurship, and creativity.
However, the project involved a considerable task: the renovation of an old industrial factory built in 1892, located near the iconic Royal Palace of Madrid.
Transforming this historic structure into a cutting-edge technology centre required an innovative solution.
The result of this collaboration between Google and Topcret was impressive. Today, the Google Campus building in Madrid stands as an architectural landmark and a reference centre for innovation and business collaboration. The space offers a variety of areas dedicated to startups, entrepreneurs, and work teams, including private offices, meeting rooms, and a large coworking space. In addition, it has a state-of-the-art auditorium, designed to host inspiring conferences and events. The public open cafeteria and common areas encourage the exchange of ideas and the creation of collaboration networks.
Thanks to the choice of Baxab® as the main material, the Google Campus not only conveys the company’s technological image but also reflects its commitment to sustainability and aesthetic design.
This project has left a lasting mark on Madrid, positioning Topcret as a leading company in innovative construction solutions and consolidating the Google Campus as an iconic centre of innovation in Spain and beyond.
