The cost of applying any microcement or coating is the same on any surface. There can only be an additional cost for an exceptional deterioration of the surface to be covered that makes it necessary to previously apply a self-leveling or extra layer of microcement base. In these cases, the client can opt for Topcret’s services or request an independent one.
Although Topcret displays the color palette of its products on the web and in printed catalogs, the perception of them may vary according to each screen or print. The colors in these media are indicative, so it is advisable to visit any of the showrooms before making a purchase and check the color and surface appearance. Even so, the color, gloss and roughness finish is unique in each work.

They are two different products. Microcement has similar aesthetic characteristics to polished cement, but it has other very beneficial characteristics, such as being applied to any existing surface and, with an approximate thickness of only 2mm, it generates continuous surfaces. This distinguishes it from polished concrete that requires expansion joints and adds a thickness of more than 6 centimeters to the surface, which represents a higher risk of cracking. In addition, with Microcemento® or Baxab® the range of finishes and textures is broader than with polished cement.

The maintenance and cleaning of Topcret coatings is carried out by washing with water and neutral soap. Periodically it is recommended to apply self-shine waxes diluted in water, since they leave an acrylic residue that renews the protective layer of the floor.
