Heal & Son

The historic Heal’s Building, a beacon of British design for over 200 years, has undergone a transformative renovation to merge its illustrious past with a forward-looking vision. Situated on Tottenham Court Road, this Grade II* listed landmark has been a testament to innovation and craftsmanship since Ambrose Heal founded his design atelier. Today, Heal and Son, in collaboration with BGY architects and global investment firm KKR, are redefining this iconic space, ensuring its legacy continues to inspire future generations of creatives and innovators.
The Heal’s Building, a storied estate encompassing 187,682 sq ft across nine interconnected buildings, required a sensitive yet revolutionary approach to refurbishment. The designers were tasked to preserve the historical essence while infusing modern functionality and aesthetics. This involved restoring heritage elements, enhancing public spaces, and creating a dynamic environment for creative, media, and technology businesses.
